Training Edge Academy

Training Edge Academy's mission is to bring training to extraordinary levels and adapt such to meet your organizations needs within the province of Manitoba. Training Edge Academy is owned and operated by Robert Jessup, Oshoshkwo Binesi Ginew "Blue Thunder Eagleman".

In Robert's own words:

"My unique perspective as an Indigenous person, combined with my 13-year career in the non-profit sector in my role as a Coordinator and Case Manager supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, has given me valuable insights into the challenges faced by front-line staff. This expertise informs our approach to training, thus ensuring that our programs are sensitive to the unique needs of both learners and the people they serve. I have learned of my cultural at the Circle Of life Thunderbird House in Winnipeg as the assistant to the Executive Director. We brought Cultural Teachings and Ceremonies with Elders and a Medicine Man to the community. Doing this work has strengthened my family ties to my Indigenous and 'Métis’ communities in Manitoba. The company's traditional name is Ozaiizeh Makwa Mushkiki Mikinah which translates to "Brown Bear Medicine Road". Our name was provided by our ancestors through ceremony. I would like to offer a 10% discount rate to all ADSPM members when they book training provided by the company. It is a way for me to give back to where my career started so many years ago."

Please see the licensed courses they offer below. They will also travel to your location to provide on site training on your time.
