2024-2028 Strategic Plan

In collaboration with Exchange Group, the ADSPM embarked on a strategic planning initiative over the course of 2022 and 2023. The ADSPM's 2024-2028 strategic plan, outlines our vision, mission, and priorities for the next five years. Land Acknowledgement

The Alliance of Direct Support Professionals of Manitoba (ADSPM) works on Treaty 1 territory. We acknowledge and honour the land on which we gather, live, work and play. It is the traditional territories and homelands of the Anishinabe, Cree, Anisininew, Dakota, Dene and Metis people. We further acknowledge that the majority of Manitobans access drinking water from Shoal Lake 40 at a time when a number of Indigenous communities nationwide continue to lack clean drinking water.

Learn more about territory acknowledgements and best practices.

We recognize the harms and mistakes of the past and we dedicate ourselves to moving forward in partnership with Indigenous communities and people, in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.

Reconciliation starts with each of us committing to our own learning and we encourage you to spend some time to better understand the history of the land upon which you live, work and play and your relationship with the Indigenous people who share it with you.
